Poems for Daril

If you've never read Mark Doty, here's your chance. Much of his work centers around the loss of his long-time partner to AIDS. I'm finding his work both comforting, painful, and appropriate today.

"The Embrace" brought tears to my eyes Ang. I'm sorry that your neighbor passed away - and that you feel badly for not doing more for him while he was alive.

*hug*

love you

I ADORE him! His poetry is so full of love it makes you want to just run out and hug someone.

"Broadway" is still, and will always be my favorite of his.

Laura, my favorite is A Green Crab's Shell.
You know, I'd never heard of him until just a few years ago. Laura Amos turned me on to him, and ever since, I've considered him one of my favorites.
